For Indians Moving From India

Start your research and applications at least 12 to 18 months before your intended intake.

If you are already in the U.S. on a dependent visa (H-4, L-2) and wish to enroll in a degree program, confirm that your current status permits full-time study or whether you need to change status to F-1. Changing to F-1 gives you access to CPT and OPT work authorizations unavailable on dependent visas.
